Originally conceived as a touring show, this filmed song cycle invites an audience to travel with Orpheus through the Underworld and around Seattle in a new exciting way. The varied locations showcase how context affects an audience, although no longer set in a dive bar, a church, or a park. Between the self-tapes from the dancers and the live-recorded audio from a trio of musicians, audiences are able to experience the intricate movements, melodies, and rhythms from the comfort of their own homes.

This brand-new play, about a world where princesses train to save themselves, was workshopped this spring by our amazing Workshop Conservatory actors. With the input received from the cast, director, and the audience, the playwright will do one final rewrite over the summer and the production will be fully mounted by the same cast.
